歐吉森，名字裡有一點老派，也帶點溫暖。它來自日文裡對「歐吉桑」的親切稱呼—— 是一種對生活認真的大人感。37 歲的 Andy，在人生看似穩定的階段，選擇再一次出走，不安於只停留在熟悉的軌道上，一次次走進產地，認識農友、小農與當地人，站在田間、酒窖與工坊裡，聽他們聊氣候、土壤、收成與生活。他慢慢意識到，真正打動他的，從來不只是商品本身，而是那片土地的風土、民情，以及食材背後的日常節奏。他想做的，只是把這些真實存在過的片段，原封不動地帶回台灣。
OJISEN is a name with a touch of old-world charm and a sense of warmth. It comes from the Japanese word Ojisen—not a reference to age, but a way of describing someone who approaches life with care, intention, and quiet confidence. At 37, Andy chose to step out once again, not because he was dissatisfied, but because he didn’t want to remain only within what was familiar. He traveled repeatedly to the places where things begin— meeting farmers, small producers, and local communities. Standing in fields, wine cellars, and workshops, he listened as they spoke about climate, soil, harvests, and everyday life. Over time, he realized that what truly moved him was never just the product itself, but the terroir, the people, and the rhythms of life behind each ingredient. What he wanted was simple: to bring these genuine moments, exactly as they were, back to Taiwan.
於是，他開始思考的，不再是市場缺什麼，而是——什麼樣的風味，值得被好好體驗？什麼樣的食材，能讓人不用出國，也能感受到異地的生活感？歐吉森想做的，不是複製異國，而是讓風味自然地走進日常。從原料、物料到使用方式，讓每一次打開、烹調與分享，都像是在餐桌上，完成一趟短暫卻真實的旅行。從義大利原物料、酒款、橄欖油、麵食，到餐飲端會真正用到的食品與包材，歐吉森專注在一件事上——把「專業選品」變成「你用得上的日常」。
So he began to think differently. Not about what the market was missing, but— What kind of flavors are truly worth experiencing? What kind of ingredients can let you feel another place, without having to travel there? OJISEN does not aim to replicate foreign cultures. Instead, we let flavors naturally become part of everyday life.
